In anticipation of the big showdown that is scheduled to start on Monday, June 19, 2006
in Accra, prempeh.org team arrived in the nation's capital early today.
This year promises to be a great one as the National Science and Maths quiz venue
has been changed from Achimota to the University of Ghana, Legon campus. The quiz now
affords all the schools a neutral ground.
As has been the tradition over the years with Presec and then Achimota hosting
the contest, this year has a total change. The supporters of Achimota who thronged
the place any time their school competed will now board a car to Legon.
The new N-Block popularly known as Tsunami, a name given to the building by the
vandals of the University of Ghana, will be the venue with all the contestants
lodging in the premier hall of the premier university, the Legon hall.
The quiz kicks off on the 19th of June. However, our coverage has already begun. Stay tuned for a preview
