With just some few days to end the WASSCE examinationas and then
prepare for the National Science and Maths Quiz, the college's
representatives for the quiz have expressed their unflinching decision
to win the trophy when the competition takes place on the 19th of
June in Accra.
Speaking to the contestants at the prempeh.org quizzes library, their training
base where they were competing among themselves, they emphasised their
determination to lift the image of the college one more time this
year.
Aning Daniel Gyawu of Aggrey House said winning the trophy for the
third time will not only make the old students proud but will also be
an archive of their achievement during their school days.
He said the
boys are really inspired to make it happen this year but asked all
Amanfoo and lovers of the college to keep on praying and supporting
them in any way possible. Contestant Andrew Asare Baah also
expressed his sadness at the college's inabailty to get them one or
two trial quizzes with some schools before the contest.
The boys travel to Accra on 18th June while the competition takes off
on the 19th of June since the trial quizzes that were arranged with
some schools in Accra could not take place.
