Prof Kupo: Prempeh will win it

We met with Prof Kupo, one of our masters who came with our contestants. He was extremely confident that because of the excellent preparation that the College made towards the quiz competition this year, he has no doubt that Prempeh will emerge victorious.

Not only are this year's contestants extremely brilliant, they are better prepared because prempeh.org answered the headmaster's pleadings to the general Amanfoo public by sponsoring the purchase of video cassettes of quizes from 1997-2004. The website also provided them with the semi-finals and finals of 1995, which Headmaster Owusu-Achiaw said was imperative to Prempeh's success.

The cassette comes in a pack of 5 for each year with all the preliminary rounds to the final on the 5 cassettes. So, for the 9 years, we purchased all the cassettes for the boys to watch, which has stunned the other schools and the Quiz organizers. The organizers were shocked by the "seriousness Prempeh has attached to the Quiz competition" when we went to them on Tuesday, April 19th to purchase the videotapes because no school has been able to purchase that many past video cassettes. Some of our strongest opponents do not have even a single videotape in their library.

Furthermore, this year's contestants is considered far superior to last year's team. This current team includes Asiamah Ernest Amponsah, a 16 year old who happens to be the student who has broken the Maths record on campus: his lowest score in Mathematics in his 3 years at Prempeh is 95% while the rest have all been 100% throughout. As we saw during the trials, Asiamah never gets any question wrong.
