The examination system in Ghana doesn't traditionally permit students to enter universities directly from
secondary school.
Traditionally in Ghana, students stay home for a year after their secondary school graduation before
starting the University.
Thus Danso of the Class of 2005 was expected to enter medical school in September 2006.
However,
he was offered admission to the medical school the moment he left Prempeh soil because during the first-term of his form three year,
he took the so-called "Nov-Dec" SSSCE and scored a perfect 8 A's, though the SSSCE syllabus had not been even completed at that time.
That was the boy whose name was mentioned by the quizmistress any time a question was posed at the national competition.
He joins Louis Oteng Gyimah and several others in the KNUST Medical School first year class.
He will therefore be leading Kofi and Asiamah next year when they arrive at the medical school.
