    DAY PREFECTS NOW DISCIPLINE PREFECTS

    2004/2005 Discipline Prefect Ebenezer Owusu Ansah
    The boys that we elected as Day Prefects - the first such prefects in history - have been appointed "Discipline Prefects" because all day students have been converted to boarders. Prempeh College is now a complete boarding institution. Headmaster has stated that any boy who does not want to reside on campus forfeits his enrollment status.

    So Eben Owusu Ansah is the first Discipline Prefect; Okrah P.K. remains his deputy. You may recall that prempeh.org interviewed the then Day Prefects-elect in July 2004.

    Their job involves seeing to it that students do not use the Busanga lane route and the Serwaa walls to town. They will also make sure students are not found on the school field at odd hours. In addition, they will ensure proper code of dressing that befits a student of the Kings College -- tucking in of shirts, among other things. Like all Prefects, they will also assist the Senior Prefects with their job or take on any task assigned by Senior Prefects.
