2007/08 Senior Prefect David Nimo

Good morning Senior Prefect.
S.P: Good morning.

We are aware the form 3's have been on campus to prepare for
the WASSCE. Can you please tell us about what's happening on
campus?
S.P: Thank you. Forms 3's were made to have a week's break and we reported
after the week break on the 11/04/2008. Since it was some few days for
the commencement of the WASSCE exams almost all the students were here
on time. But unexpectedly and shockingly, students were not served
dinning hall which made many furious to return back home. Although we
sought the attention of the headmaster to correct the unexpected he
only remarked that we (the senior prefects) should collect all receipt
of the form 3's indicating that the fees have been fully paid. We,
therefore, went to all the dormitories and collected the receipt of
the form 3's and their receipt no. but dinning was still not served.

I perceive you were very disturbed. Could you also comment on
the
academic schedules for the form 3's?
S.P: Sadly, we have not received any form of tuition arrangement from
the headmaster and when we asked him he remarked that the students
(form 3's) were not serious that's why the teachers are not coming in
to teach. But fortunately some few teachers have been so committed and
have been helping us ever since we returned on the 11/04/2008

So what are the form 3's doing for themselves to help them
excel?
S.P: By God's grace, we have individual studies and group discussions.
And I believe the group discussions are benefiting us. Furthermore,
the daily devotion with the School Chaplain motivates us very well.

Please enlighten us on the WASSCE papers written?
S.P:So far the science students have completed their practical
examinations and are quiet glad saying it was "cool".
Moreover, on the core subject, only English orals have been written
and we are preparing for the next core paper which is core math and
that's tomorrow.

Finally, please comment on the general discipline of the form
3's?
S.P: Hmm, very sad to say that discipline is poor on campus.
Authorities have barely shunned their enforcement of the school rules
consequently causing moral indiscipline among the students and boldly
flouting the school rules. Honestly too, the prefects are also
consumed in their preparation for their WASSCE exams hence little to
do in keeping the school rules all alone.
