Senior Prefect launches special initiative

Thursday, November 3, 2005

Senior Prefect Ampong S.O. is home for the midterms and he called us after midnight yesterday. Ampong says he was studying Biology and started feeling sleepy so he wanted to chat with the webmaster.

He called to inform us that he has launched an "S.P.'s initiative." He is organising a gardening competition and also awarding "the best read boy on campus." He has asked us to publicise his initiatives for him and also help him with them.

Ampong S.O - the 2005/06 Senior Prefect
When we asked Alaala if he had any love in his life, he said he is not into girls because he is priest-like by philosophy. He does not engage in "such stuff." This is probably why he prays and fasts often.

When we informed him that we were purchasing some microphones exclusively for the quizzes league, Ampong said that the chaplaincy raised funds for the school yesterday in order to get new set of instruments and mics for the school since they have none. They raised C30 million of which the prefects paid one million. Each prefect was levied a fixed amount to raise the 1 million.

He said that it was, however, an excellent idea to have our own microphones for the quizzes.
