Even though Pearson house is considered by the other houses as the house with the least number of "sharks" on campus, the Pearsonites have determined to battle out and win the trophy albeit the assertions of people.

Housemaster Mr. Amponsah, popularly known as Alfa Buu said, "I have chosen the best for the house and I know they will win." After a thorough search in the house, Pearson came out with Kokuma Selase who is considered as one of the great Mathematicians of the college likened to the spirit of Asiamah.

Kokuma Selase with the partnership that he will derive from Fiifi Manful, another versatile thinker who has no specialisation in any particular subject but knows all subjects and then Nana Owusu Achiaw (the proud fellow who has the surnames of the headmaster) will turn all stumbling blocks into stepping stones and make The House of Chiefs a force to contend with in the Inter-houses Science and Maths Quizzes League.

With Osei Kofi Prempeh and Oppong Collins in the boat for Pearson, they fear no storm. Kofi Prempeh is one of the 12 contestants already chosen to represent Prempeh in the 2006 National Science Quiz. But like the other 11, he knows that his place on the team is not guarranteed unless he pushes Pearson to the Legend's Cup glory.

If the other houses think they can easily beat Pearson, then they should stay on guard.

The Pearson boys feel that since an old boy of the House invented this Quizzes League concept the trophy is theirs by right.

They have the spirit of the great Archimedes to back them up. Kumawuhene will be cheering for them online.
