After a hectic screening process for the selection of new prefects to man the affairs of the house for the 2002/2003 year, the time light fell on us, when we were elected and inducted into office on the 28th day of July 2002 to steer the affairs of the house.
After our induction, there were some problems encountered that was controlling the then form 3’s who were our seniors, but by the abundant grace of the “Old Man” who lives up there, we were able to overcome them. We can now boast of the most disciplined students in the whole school.
Although this year we didn’t fare very well in the Saturday inspections, we can still boast of having the most environmentally friendly atmosphere for our students. We still maintain that our house is the “five star hotel” of Prempeh College. Pearson has always been known as the house of Christians and this reflected in our performance during the inter-houses offertory organized recently. We emerged winners and this shows purely that our late grandfather Rev. S.N Pearson laid a very solid Christian foundation for the house.
Despite all the good things bestowed on the house we fall short of one thing: athletes! The whole batch of students in the house cannot boast of any school athlete. In spite of these, we did our best in the inter-house athletics competition to be among the best nine.
All these achievements wouldn’t have been possible without the help of our able housemasters, in the persons of Messrs. Amponsah Antwi and Iddrisu Yakubu; above all the good Lord has been our guard and guide. We would like to acknowledge some students who have been of immense help to the house. They are Ennision. K. Dadzie, Stephen Kyei, Eugene Ampadu, Nana Yaw Owusu Ansah and a whole lot. We say: may the Almighty Shower his blessing on you all.
Long live Pearson House!!
Long live Prempeh College!!
