Osei Tutu House

The late Bannor "Changes" Mensah

Bannor featured in the 400 and 400 x 4 meters and pull a lot of wins for our school. May his soul rest in peace!!


Ralph "The Original Darkus" Minter

Ralph was one of the Ashanti Region's Greatest hurdlers during his time. This guy took Kojo Duodus and the TanTalas of Amass and O'SecTec by storm to win the 1980 hurdles finals. He really gave us a lot to cheer about in the 110 meters hurdles


Ebenezer "Pasha" Lawson

Pasha and his brother Mafia were very fast. In the 1985 inter house athletics competition, they brought the old school 4 X 400 metre record from 3.38 secs to 3.34 secs. They also represented Prempeh in the stadium very well, espeially in the 100 metres.

Mafia and his brother Pasha were very fast. In the 1985 inter house athletics competition, they brought the old school 4 X 400 metre record from 3.38 secs to 3.34 secs. They also represented Prempeh in the stadium very well, especially in the 100 metres. He is considered as one of the best in 400m hurdles. His time of 52.7secs set on 9/4/87 is eighth on Ghana's all time list. He is also a member of the quartet that set the then national 4x400m record of 3:09.57secs (17/8/85), which is now ranked 9th on Ghana's all-time list.


K.B. "Billy" Opoku

Billy was a national long jump champion and a very good sprinter during his time.


Nti Berko

He was known for his awesome tripple jumping abilities that always had Prempeh on top at critical points at the Interco during the late '80's.


Gideon Obeng "Ashkus" Adeyeah

The brother of Classic, and a member of the fearsome 4 x 400 meters squad and a partner of Babylonia in the 400 meters. With Ashkus and Babylonia, Prempeh could always count on enough points to defeat our rivals.


Kwadwo "Padingo" Assam

Padingo was unstoppable. It was during his time that inter-house table tennis became really exciting. Table tennis had never been OT's cup of tea, but Padingo gave OT House some pride when he put up a show against Ramseyer's Agadas and Akili at the Assembly Hall. This was a one-of-a-kind event. These three guys crushed everyone in the Ashanti Region for so many years.


Tony Owusu "Burger" Boampong

Burger was just a complete athlete. He participated in many field events.


Kwabena "Saakino" Nyarko

He was the school hockey captain and a member of the 400metres relay team; he later went on to play for the Black Sticks (Ghana's National hockey team).


Jones "Pinco Jones" Koampah

He was a great athlete who represented the school several times in the 200 metres and 100 metres relay.


Agyei (Crowther Hayes)

One of the great table tennis stars of his time.


Charles "Chalito" Amankwah

He was the leader of the celebrated 1976 Regional hockey Championship squad


Kwadwo Frimpong-Ansah

He competed for the School Athletics team from 1972 to 1975 in the 100m, 200m 4 x 100m and 4 X 200m. Major achievement was winning the Ashanti Regional inter-colleges 100m and 200m (10.8 s & 22.4 s) in 1975. He was the Sports Prefect in 1974. He has gone on to achieve greatness after Prempeh by becoming a veterans champion in athletics. Among his honors are 100, 200 and 4x100 meter relay golds (in the over-40 age category) in the European Veterans Championships, having also participated in the World Veterans Athletic Championships.
