There is a time for everything and a season for every activity under heaven. A time to b e born and a time to die as the good book says. On the 28th July 2002, we were born into the race of leadership and now the time due for us to die out.
Our tenure of office has been a very successful one compared to that of our predecessors though they did their very best. We can boldly say that the motto of the house, which reads “Susu Biribi” literally meaning focus on something, has really reflected on our leadership. This was realized from our countless effort, which geared the members to put in their best in all school activities, which included academic work, sporting activities, general cleanliness and discipline among others.
Academically, we produce some academic giants through whose immense efforts we were able to grab several awards during the 53rd speech and prize-giving day. The house also produced a key contestant together with others who will be representing the school in the next national Maths and science Quiz, this key constetant is Osie Dwomah Emmanuel (3S5). The house can also boast of some dedicated members who were among the school debating team.
In the field of sport precisely, the inter-houses athletics competition, the “white House” members really did their possible best. People thought nothing good could come from O. T house in this chapter but much was achieved surprisingly. We have been able to add to the records by placing 3rd in the 4X400m junior division and 2nd also in 4X400m senior division. We were the 3rd runner up in the overall competition. Mention can be made of aggressive and dedicated students who helped to realize this success. They are Brenya Baah, Agyeman Joseph, Asare Kuffour, Owusu Fordjour, Obed Pakoh and Nelson Danteh among others.
On the part of cleanliness, our duty conscious from ones made us proud. Although we drew back last term from our previous position in the general inspection we hope to better it this term. With the hope of some hard working from twos we did maintain internal cleanliness to the maximum degree. We also ensured that our members lived in healthy conditions and that we provided each dormitory with adequate ceiling fans for good ventilation.
We were able to maintain discipline in the house. We made sure all our members obeyed school rules and responded effectively to the school siren. In conclusion, we focused and we have been able to achieve.
We owe a thankful appreciation to our dedicated house master Mr. Jonathan Quayson and Mr. Samuel Mensah (Asst) through whose guidance we have made it.
Long live Osei Tutu House!
Long live Prempeh College
