CLASSES TO END AT 10:30 A.M

Classes will end at 10:30 this morning so that the boys could go and await the start of the ceremony at the Osae assembly Hall.

Some of the boys are decorating the hall at this very moment, as Asst. Headmaster Yeboah supervises.

The place is looking very elegant: some very nice kente cloth has been placed on the wall of the hall, onto which the banner is pinned.

We may need to rush to Tanoso with Mr. Kupo within this last hour to ensure that Yaa Asantewaa Girls are allowed to come. Mr. Kupo visited their school yesterday to remind them but their Headmistress is still reluctant to send the girls to Sofoline.

One of the biggest secrets this website has failed to reveal over the years is that, the YAGSS headmistress, who is a product of St. Monicas Girls -- Prempeh's ex-allies -- is strongly opposed to the Amanadehyee Alliance. The problem is even compounded by the fact that her husband is Amanfoo. When she and her husband were in school, Prempeh and St. Monicas of Mampong were inextricably tied together.

But now that she's all grown and is married to an Amanfoo, she finds that the school she's now managing has displaced her alma mater from the mind of Prempeh folks, which rankles her.

And that is why she has consistently done everything in her power to sabotage our alliance.
