HOUSE MASTERS TARGET TROPHY

Prof. Kupo met with the housemasters yesterday at a special Quizes league meeting between the Quiz coordinator and the housemasters.

The housemasters were asked to submit their list of contestants, which most of them will submit by the weekend. The masters were urged to select the representatives and not leave that task to house prefects.

However, it turns out the housemasters have their own plans. They suggested that they have all devised techniques aimed at winning the much-coveted trophy so they would like to implement their own ideas, such as presenting more contestants. All they talked about was the trophy.

Butler House, for example, wants to present 8 contestants while Aggrey wants to bring in only 4. Aggrey housemaster believes he has the four most brilliant science students ever to grace Sofoline soil and he wants to present only that four. Serwah House probably would like to bring the whole house as contestants to show that they have the highest number of brainy people.

They suggested that prempeh.org does not stipulate the number of representatives from each house, rather we should allow them to do as they wish.

That is fine with us. We just don't want them to be changing contestants every week and wind up using 50 people in the quiz. We want the contestants to be able to get repeated exposure to questions and improve in their knowledge as the quiz progresses throughout the year. How could they gain such experience if they are changed every week?
