The 2006 National runners-up display their silver medals
There is no gainsaying that the Prempeh College soccer team
performed well at the just ended National Milo Soccer Festival
although they could not win the gold.
The boys did so well that they were awarded
the Best Defender trophy, Best Goalkeeper and the Golden Boot.
The headmaster at morning assembly today gave the boys an undisclosed
amount of money aside the 2.5 million cedis given the players by
Nestle, the organisers of the event.
Mr Owusu-Achiaw also went ahead to give
the boys certificates for the good work that they have done for Mother
Prempeh.
In particular, Ahmed Deedat Amoako, Sampson Otoo, Eric Goloe, Collins Amponsah
and Okei Stephen, all form three students, who are leaving the school will
forever be remembered at the Sofoline University.
