Welcome to Freeman house, the house that stands as the lily among the thorns. Barely a year ago, history was made in the records of F.H. on 28th of July 2002, we were inducted into office and an hour after, our work commenced.
To begin with religious aspect, our mid-week devotions which was filled with clapping and singing put on a new look with the introduction of drums which made our meetings lively and soul inspiring.
With the help of our responsible overseers, indispensable form Threes and duty conscious form ones, cleanliness in the house was at its acme. The surroundings of the house was clean and the dressing code of “Freemanites” was splendid. In addition, it’s no wonder we ranked 3rd in the usual Saturday inspections, a memorable but most expected feat, since every Tom, Dick and Harry was up and doing.
It is an undisputed fact that, F.H is a thorn in the flesh will respect to sports. With renowned houses like Guggisberg and Aggrey of whose names other houses get scared, F.H is an exception. By our relentless efforts, soul inspiring supporters and interesting team, we placed second and third in basketball and athletics competitions respectively. With the likes of “NBA”, “Cruses”, “Borgor”, “Oparato”, Adomako Mpiani (Spider B), Ernest Opoku, Nana Yaw Owusu and Prince Bediako to mention but a few, this is a feather in our cap.
Lastly, our common room saw a great deal of change. New plastic chairs, a new TV antennae and cable wires for a better reception were acquired. All these notwithstanding, we had some shortcomings, which we sincerely believe our successors will take care of. Before we end, our sincere gratitude to the Almighty who helped us during our term of office, our house masters Mr. Asare Bediako and Mr. Akuoko Agyapong, members of the house and the whole school as a whole.
