Interview with Mr. Agyemang Duah, Prempeh Coach 2003/04

prempeh.org: Good evening, Sir

Agyengo: Good evening

Agyengo prempeh.org: Can you tell us of your background?

Agyengo: I am Agyeman Duah, 34 years old. I attended St. John's Seminary in Sunyani in the Brong Ahafo Region and later made it to Akrokerri Training College. I then pursued to the University College of Education Winneba (UCEW) where I read a course in Physical Education. I am now here for my training practice.

prempeh.org: Why did you choose Prempeh for your training practice?

Agyengo: Ever since my childhood, I have liked and loved this school but couldn't get the opportunity to enter into it. I chose the school because of the love I have for it. Furthermore, I was the coach of Agyei Boakye (LAND CRUISER). I was very sad when he told me that they coldn't annexe the superzo trophy since they (Prempeh) came second by a difference of 1.5 points. I felt I had to do something for the college.

prempeh.org: Does that suggest that you are a trainer or an athlete yourself?

Agyengo: No one should tell you that since you have seen all the pictures displayed on the wall of my room. Anyway, I can run, do the high jump, throw the javelin, unless I say that I wouldn't do it. I can do almost all the things on the field.

prempeh.org: What are your preparations for the interco?

Agyengo: We have some injuries in camp but one thing that I have come to believe is that, God's way cannot be understood. I know the Interco was postponed because God saw that some of our boys were not fit. I can say without any doubt that this year is our year from all indications. We are going to lift the trophy as we did to the MILO trophy. Those with injuries are recuperating really fast, the morale in camp is really great and the boys are really cooperative and take things really serious.

prempeh.org: How has been the cooperation from the administration and the other sports masters?

Agyengo: The administration is really helping as well as the sports masters. Even the PTA has joined the train of numerous sponsors. What we need now is the prayers of all Amanfoo.

prempeh.org: what do u have for the old boys around the world?

Agyengo: WE ARE GOING FOR THE SUPERZO and the Science and Maths Quiz trophies. If the old boys can sponsor us, they should do so since that goes to encourage the boys in a great deal. All the old boys should pray for us and to end it all, no one should panic since I can never ever be defeated by OWASS.

prempeh.org: We wish you all the best

Agyengo: Thank you very much and safe journey.
