National Debating Competition 2003/04
Prempeh wins inter-district Championship in Tamale
Last Friday, February 13, Prempeh
represented
Ashanti at the zonal level in a debating competition aimed at selecting a
champion to represent the northern sector of the country.
Prempeh emerged champions by beating the champions from Upper
East, Upper West, Brong-Ahafo and the
Northern regions.
The debaters from the Kings College will now travel to Accra to
take on the Southern sector champion in a nationally televised debate to be held
on Independence Day - March 6, 2004.
The brilliant debating squad of Prempeh College for the year 2004 is made up of:
- Kharliq Abdul (Ramseyer)
- Papa Yaw Ohene Konadu (OW)
- Gyeabour Kwasi Owusu (OT)
- William Demitiah (Ramseyer), who is a form one student.
