Prempeh wins Otumfuo's Adae Kese debate

The gloom descended further on Opoku Ware Secondary School yesterday as The Kings College of Ghana won the Asante King's Adae Kese Debate. The debate formed part of the activities marking the celebration of the Asanteman "Adae Kese" festival and the fifth anniversary of the enstoolment of Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, as the Asantehene.

Sunyani Secondary School placed 2nd while battered OWASS placed a disgraceful 3rd. This is the second defeat OWASS has suffered at the hands of Prempeh in just about a week. The Santasi school is on the verge of collapse.

Eight schools participated in the Debate that was held at the National Cultural Center in Kumasi. Yaa Asantewaa, St. Louis, Ola Girls were also among the participants. The winner's prize was C1 000, 000.00
