Prempeh beat Kumasi Anglican (KASS) 11-7 today in the Ashanti Regional Inter-Schools & Colleges basketball competition.
Next week, Prempeh will join Kumasi Academy, OWASS and KTI in the next round. The boys donned the new jerseys donated
by our departing sports coach Agyengo at KASS today. When the school was searching for funds for a new jersey kit
for our basketball team last week, Agyengo used his own funds to design jerseys for the team.
This is not the first time he has done such a thing for the College.
His passion for Prempeh is very powerful. He used
his own money to award the winner of the Inter-House Agyengo Cup soccer competition.
When the novel Prempeh soccer league came to a close, again, he used his own cash to reward the
triumphant house as well as the Goal King.
His fondness of Prempeh has astounded everyone at the school. The Headmaster said that considering
that Agyengo is not an oldboy of Prempeh, his dedication and love for the school is very remarkable.
The Headmaster urged Agyengo to come back in two years when he finishes his course at the University.
Agyengo has not responded to the offer yet.
Coach Agyemang Duah is leaving Prempeh on Monday, July 5, 2004 to go and
continue his education at The University College
of Education in Winneba.
Agyengo is a product of the St. James Seminary in the Brong-Ahafo Region, who
came to Prempeh to undertake his practical training as a component of
his Physical Education degree program at the Winneba University.
A fan of this website, he will certainly tune in and follow the school's progress
from Cape Coast. Best of luck to him.
