Prempeh.org has spoken with several of our recent graduates who played sports at Prempeh
and they have all confirmed that the abuse Prempeh stars are currently experiencing
at Sofoline, is "nothing new."
"It has always been like this under the Owusu-Achiaw administration," one renowned footballer
who graduated a few years ago mentioned.
Some of the former players wondered why these poor examples of educators at Sofoline
are regarded as exemplar teachers who get posted to other schools as headmasters.
When the nation's fastest youth Eric Goloe first entered Prempeh 2 years ago, his
best time was about 11.4 secs; now he runs a best of 10.4 secs (thanks to the
outstanding coaching of sports master Mr. Lartey). If this is a pattern to go by,
then in another 2 years when the boy turns 18, he could fall down to 9.4 secs and
challenge for Olympic gold medal, which will be a monumental achievement for Prempeh.
If this were to happen, it would bring tremendous pride to all
Amanfoo around the world. So it does not take a rocket scientist to understand that what the boy
is doing on campus could bring honour to the alma mater.
In fact, producing an Olympian is a very monumental achievement. The University of Florida, for example, is renowned
for their truly outstanding achievement in the Olympic Games. That is why they list their
Olympic history of acheivements and their incredible list of Olympians on their website
as a point of pride for the whole world to see. All the prestigious universities around the world brag about their Olympic achievements!
This is what Mr. Atiemo, the ineffective and fallen Senior Housemaster, said to Goloe this week:
"Wotiri awu (you are such a blockhead), you have no aim. Stop this running business and learn.
Did your father bring you to school to run? Boy you will
never amount to anything if you continue to run for this school."

in Morocco. Goloe is Ghana's fastest youth but he continually suffers on Prempeh campus
from Mr. Atiemo's constant verbal abuse. Even the worst kind of gutter language and
disdainful blue-collar
expressions (such as aboa, kwasea, w'agyimi, wonni adwen?, wotiri awu?), which are
only fit for the motor-park or lorry
station are
directed at him every day.
