The 4 x 100 relay quartet: (from left) Goloe, Amponsah, Fokuo and Amoako
Our great school has at least 2 jerseys for athletics. Instead of wearing one outfit, our boys opted
to wear two distinct but similar-looking jerseys. One was very light and the other with
darker green trims.
Although both were white and green jerseys, one was almost all-white with very light green while
the other white jersey had darker green.
Here they are again in 2 styles of jerseys
This thrilled the spectators especially during the relay event when our runners
exchanged batons to team mates in sligthly different jerseys. Two members
of the relay foursome wore dark and the remainder two wore the light and the exchanging of batons
in alternating colours
was a thing of beauty and a work of art da Vinci would have loved to capture.
"Who are these elegant looking guys," some ladies kept asking.
The ladies
loved Prempeh's way of setting new trends and inventing new styles even in matters
that are trivial. It may seem trivial
but it actually made the program very entertaining.
