No one needed a prophet or a soothsayer to inform him or her that Prempeh
was going to take away all the awards and prizes at the Len Clay stadium
today.
Goloe takes the overall best athlete award.
The whole place went agog as Ghana's fastest youth was
called to receive a prize for his spectacular performance on the
pitch. Eric Goloe, having won the 100m, 200m and 400m races was crowned the
"Best track athlete" today.
It came as no surprise as the young Amanfoo
has proven beyond all doubt that he is the best on the track. Eric Goloe who
couldnt go to Togo to train for a position in the Commonwealth Games
after sustaining an injury in the inter-colleges competition a fortnight ago
showed why there has been a debate about his absence from the Togo trials.
The college's Sports Prefect was also crowned the best field athlete with
Goloe taking the overall best athlete.
