Coach Agyengo and the athletes during his Prempeh days
Prempeh College's former coach who was a solid pillar in the victories of
Prempeh and now resides in Texas in the United States this week made a
surprise presentation to the college's athletics team ahead of their
competition at the Obuasi Len Clay sports stadium.
Felix Agyeman Duah also known as Agyengo coached the soccer boys and
the athletic team alongside Mr. Lartey to win the Regional and
national Milo championship.
The likes of Martin Osei Nyarko, Stephen Okei and
Ahmed Deedat were seen always getting some ideas from him. The departure of
Agyengo was a blow to Prempeh then since he was the talismanic coach and
friend of all the athletes.
Coach Agyengo today donated items to
the athletes when he read from the site that they needed sponsorship. The items
include cartons of milo, cartons of milk, energy drinks, medicines. Though he
is not an old boy of Prempeh College, he is now considered as one because what he
does for the school far exceeds what others who even completed Prempeh
College do.
He surprised us with a phone call to prempeh.org mobile phone by stating that he has money already wired
for us to take to the athletes, which is a very outstanding gesture.
Delivering the items, the sports masters thanked Mr. Agyeman Duah so much and
asked him to continue the good things that he is doing for the school.
