To Obuasi with discipline

Prempeh boys will get to support our athletes at Obuasi
The Ampong-led administration today proved once again to the general student body that they are up to the task and ready to seek the interests of students.

During his campaign for the position of senior prefect, the venerable senior prefect, Ampong SO emphasised that his reign as the leader will be all about the welfare of students.

It could be recalled that the school authorities allowed about 60 people to witness the inter-co which was organised at the Len Clay sports stadium last week. And while Prempeh College took the ultimate prize as stake as they were crowned champions, the student body did not understand the mode of selection of the supporters and why the supporters were that few. The prefects were also worried as the students were blaming them for their inability to talk to the authorities to allow the whole school to be there.

As if that was not enough, the athletes also were amazed at the number that was there and petitioned the sports master to talk to the headmaster since they needed the support of all. The headmaster yesterday sat with the Student Representative council who has the senior prefect as the President and agreed that the whole student body will be leaving the campus of Prempeh College for Obuasi to cheer the boys come next week.

The school authorities have therefore paid for the Metro Mass Transit Buses to carry the boys to and from Obuasi.

Subsequently, the sports masters are still asking all Amanfoo to sponsor them in cash or in kind as they prepare towards the super zonals. Amanfoo have not responded to their calls for sponsorship.
