Today saw the letting down of the curtain on the Royal Pair congress. The beach party which was the main focus of each and everyone was at the verge of being a flop following the decision to be taken by the executives as to where we were going for the beach. One school of the executives suggested that we go to SHINNING beach at Teshie while the other suggested we go to Kokrobite. Looking at the cost involved, we made the trip to the Labadi Pleasure beach where it was all fun and joy. Before that, the drivers of the buses that brought our brothers and sisters from KNUST wanted to charge an extra fee of 500,000 cedis which wasn't budgeted for by the executive committee of KNUST. That saw us delaying for about 2 hours before we came to a clear cut concensus with the drivers.
At the beach, it was all fun and joy. We arrived at the Labadi Pleasure beach at 1pm. At the beach each and everyone was supposed to pay 10000 cedis before allowed to enter. After some few minutes of negotiation between our able-bodied executives and the Officials at the beach, the fee was subsidised for us. The total number of people who patonised were almost 250.
AMANFOO and ADEHYEE were seen swimming together every where. While some were playing soccer others were seen dancing to the tune of the music which was been played at the background. Others got the opportunity to ride at the back of some horses that were around.
At 5pm, AMANFOO and ADEHYEE from the University of Cape Coast were told to get on board since they had a long way to go. But because we didn't want to be separated, we all decided to leave with them.
