PREMPEH TO LOSE 10 TEACHERS
Wednesday, September 15, 2004
Because of Prempeh's compliance with the national mandate that requires the school's population to be limited to 500 per class, about ten
or more of Prempeh's teachers may be transferred out to other institutions.
According to the College's Administrator, Mr. Gyabaah, the current
teacher-student ratio is 1:20, so in three years time, ten teachers
will have to leave Prempeh, bringing the total number
of teaching staff to 75.
Furthermore, the school as from this year is an all-boarding institution. This means that when the current crop of day students graduate, there will be
no day students at the school.
