vying for National Teacher of the Year. He is the Opoku Ware Housemaster. Herewith a conversation we recently had with him:

what do u think are the benefits or advantages of this new admission system
Mr. Okyere-Darko: It will really help us, the masters in the sense that:
we will be able to monitor the movement of students since all students are going to be in the boarding house.
The lower class numbers will give the masters lower loads of work to do
We can also interact with the students easily
Indiscipline in the system will be reduced if not curbed completely.
prempeh.org:What will then be the future of the Day prefect?
Mr. Okyere-Darko: Since there wouldn't be day students, there wouldn't be the need to put in place such a position and all the continuing students who are day students will also be made boarders.
prempeh.org:What about any student who doesn't want to be a boarder?
Mr. Okyere-Darko: Such students may forfeit their admissions.
