December 30, 2007: Other Campus Developments

Part of East Gate and Fence to give way

Part of the East Gate and Fence of Prempeh College is being demolished and re-demarcated in order to make way for the construction of the Komfo Anokye (Gee) to Abuakwa Road. The construction is expected to ease traffic and make movement to Sofoline and beyond faster.

The government wants to expand this particular road, and Prempeh's lands need to be encroached in order to make room for the expansion.

This is the road at the Serwah House school gate that that connects Sofoline Roundabout with Sofoline Clinic/Bantama Road.

This wall fence around this side of the school has to be knocked down to make room for the road expansion

Parts of the walls here have been brought down

Part of the forest behind 0-square garden had been razed down and a new fence is being built.

The workers are busy at the site all the time.

This definitely has a negative impact on the ecological nature of Prempeh but we have to sacrifice for the national interest.
