September 9, 2007: Inauguration of KNUST District Branch

A new branch of the Prempeh College Old Students’ Association has been inaugurated on the campus of KNUST to enable Amanfoo in and around KNUST contribute their quota to the development of Prempeh College. This was launched on Friday, September 7, 2007.

Apparently most lecturers and staff on campus could not make time to drive all the way down to Sofoline and attend the meetings of the Ashanti Regional Branch due to their very busy schedule. This new branch encompasses a forum for Professors, Lecturers and Old boy graduates of Tech living around those environs.

This is not to be confused with the preexisting Amanadehyee Branch at Tech.
