Mr. David
Copp, who taught at Prempeh from 1953 to 1960 and was housemaster of Serwah
House when Mr. TC Simms was the Headmaster, taught President JA Kufuor at Prempeh in those days.
He returned to Sofoline and stayed from October 20 - 30, 2006 and spent time with Ghana's President at the Castle.

The whole school welcomed the Copp family. Though the headmaster had interacted with the Copps via email before their arrival, he was not present when they came
because he had traveled for a meeting of CHASS (Conference of Heads of Assisted Schools), of which he is the national Chairman.
Mr. Copp, his wife, Pat and Sally, their husbands and their children
with some masters at Prempeh College.
Mr. Copp is presented a stool by the college. Doing the presentation is
the current indefatigable Serwah house master.
Form 1 boys had just arrived in October and they look confused and clueless here as usual
