April 9, 2006: We continue to excel wherever we go
Our College may be under assault, but we continue to shine around the globe.
The new Chevy SSR, a combination sports car/ truck that Chevy just introduced. Senior
William Kwamena-Poh's talent was utilized in launching this vehicle. This is the handicraft
of Senior William,
Class of '78, master artist. Nearly every great decoration or background material
that has ever appeared on American television, has been drawn by him. If you've ever
watched "The Cosby Show," then you've seen his work.
His work has been used as set decorations for television shows such
as "The Cosby Show"(NBC), "Baby Talk"(ABC), "Roc Live"(FOX), "Martin"(FOX), "In The
House"(NBC), "South Central"(FOX), "Moesha"(WB) and "Living Single"(FOX).

While the President is on Executive Mission
abroad (he is seen in this White House photo of April 12), his alma mater is under
ridicule.

And Dominic Oduro of the Class of '99 just signed his new contract with FC Dallas, making him
the first Ghanaian to play in the American league. It is just the first step of the great things to come.

New Asante Kotoko captain, Edmund Owusu Ansah of the Class of '96 continues to excel.
Under his leadership, Kotoko is winning in the Champions League.

Samuel Adade and his team at MTSU won the Sun Belt Conference Indoor Track Championships for 2006.

A kid who just walked out of Prempeh's hallowed grounds moments ago is being hailed as
"the nation's best striker." That is Martin Osei Nyarko, Aggrey '2005.
