April 2, 2006: The Most Confident Group

Welcome to Butler, also called The Presidential House, at least until January 2009. Yes, this house is the first to send someone to The Castle, which is why the residents of this house are the most confident in the whole of Sofoline.

Last week we saw that Freeman is the Most Comfortable Place to Live. Now we look at the Most Confident Group.

The boys with the most arrogant walk on campus are seen here watching television in their Common Room. Don't forget that they won a brand new TV and DVD player from the website for taking the Prempeh.org Soccer league trophy

We know already that this is the House where the President of Ghana grew up, where he was an athlete and a cadet.

Butler boys watching television in their Common Room. These boys feel that they can dominate every event or activity in the school. They played the soccer league for many months without defeat. In addition, they produced the Goal-King and the Most Valuable Player - the great K. Manu.

Butler has produced many great brains over the years and, this year is no exception. Okyere Prince Sebastian (shown here) has already competed for Prempeh in the Ghana Science Association CMB Science quiz. He is one of the two Butler boys among this year's Science Quiz team of 12 boys who will represent the school at the national quiz competition. The other constestant from Butler is Kwadwo Nyantakyi Adu-Darko. Do not forget that Elliot Asare and Dwobeng came from Butler. Now we know that K. Manu becoming the first form one boy to make the Ashanti soccer team is not Butler's only achievement in recent years. These boys feel they can win everything. Their history shows they can.

Come back next week for a report on another interesting house on campus.
