Photos of the Week Archive
February 19, 2006: Where are they now?
A cursory look at some recent Prempeh graduates. Our very young
Amanfoo exceedingly successful. Here is why:
This is a photo culled from our 1999 Golden Jubilee Photo Gallery; emphasis should be
placed on the gentleman on the right -- Gorazo -- who was commander of
Prempeh cadet corps at the Golden Jubilee.
|
Here is Gorazo again, leading the Guard of Honour at Prempeh College in 1999.
|
This is Gorazo now, a member of Her Majesty's army in the UK. From Prempeh
College Cadet Commander to British military officer.
|
.....all in just a few years. Amazing huh? Our recent graduates are exceedingly
successful.
|
Gilbert Boadu is his name, though his friends call him King Gorazo.
He is currently based in Germany as part of the Royal forces.

And this is Dominic "Ananse" Oduro, Gorazo's friend from the Class of '99, who now plays for FC
Dallas of the US Major League Soccer. He is the first Ghanaian to enter the
American premier league. ESPN has written a whole lot about him; he was an All-American at VCU.
|
And here is Acorstic, Asst. Freeman House Prefect of the Class of 2003 at a Stadium in Egypt in January/February 2006, where he covered the
African Cup of Nations. He is a great radio sports presenter at Hello FM and Peace FM.
|
We have here the brilliant national science quiz contestant Kwame Danso
of the Class of 2005, who earned admission to the KNUST Medical School
while still a student at Prempeh. Instead of sitting home one year before matriculating in the
medical school, this boy packed his stuff from his Prempeh dorm and carried it straight to
the medical school halls. He is a member of the record-breaking quiz trio of 2005. This photo was taken at his graduation in December 2005 at Sofoline.

Former Prempeh captain Osei Nyarko (Apio), Class of 2005, now plays for Tano Bofoakwa FC.
