May 22, 2005: Celebrating The Best in Ghana.
The Kwame Nkrumah
University of Science & Technology (KNUST) in Kumasi ranks the 25 best schools in the nation annually; this list is announced and released by the university's
Vice-Chancellor in Septemper every year - at the first-year matriculation ceremony.
In 2004, The Kings College was ranked number one, and our Headmaster was invited to be the center of attention at the ceremony.
Prempeh.org followed him there, as we do with every trip the Headmaster makes these days.
A DISTINGUISHED LOOK: Our Headmaster, seated with 39 other heads of schools, is just about to hear the great news that Prempeh is number 1 in the nation.

This is an excerpt of the actual speech of the Vice-Chancellor of the University, stating that Prempeh leads
the list of "schools that are able to produce world class students."

While we were number one, our ladies from the Royal Girls Secondary School placed 7th, becoming the second-best girls' school in the nation.

Congratulations to Yaa Asantewaa Girls for being the best girls school in Ashanti
|
If Prempeh is the best in Ashanti and Ghana, and Yaa Asantewaa is the best in Ashanti and second-best in Ghana, then we
are truly a match made in heaven.
|
Congratulations Amanfoo 2004. In fact Prempeh is the leading producer of "world class university students" throughout
all the nations universities. However, only KNUST has the ranking system in place to back our claim.
Recall also that Prempeh topped medical school admissions at the University of Ghana in 2004.
