Prempeh Hall of Famer Mr. G.A Gyimah receiving his award. Mr Gyimah was a Senior Housemaster and Assistant Headmaster in the 1960s and 70s.

Mr G.A. Gyimah served Prempeh College from 1961-1974. He was the Ramseyer house master, then the Entertainment Master. He was later promoted to the position of the Senior Housemaster where he served the college diligently by instilling discipline in his boys.

He said after he was presented with his award, "for me if you do not sweep the Apian way well, I will punish you."

Senior Akosa recalled with fond memories how Mr. George Antwi Gyimah, also called Koo Gyimah, disliked litter and always made him pick up all the rubbish on the compound when he found him (Akosa) with his shorts rolled-up.

Koo Gyimah was given a standing ovation as he moved up the stage to receive his award from the Agbogbomefia, Togbui Afedzi and the Amankrado of Nungua. He was also awarded with a certificate, some amount of money in dollars while the wife was given the kente cloth.
