Amanfoo Legon were excited to see our boys win; and our representatives were impressed by the Amanfoo spirit. Gyeabour, the principal speaker told us he "had an inborn and an inward zeal to produce his best" when he saw the old boys from University of Ghana - Legon present. In his words he said, "these Legon old boys really came with action."

OWASS boys say we won because President Kufuor was worried that his alma mater was sinking really fast, so he ordered his fellow Prempeh Oldboy, The Honourable Education Minister, to guarantee Prempeh the victory.
