The purpose of this unique web page is to bring the Golden School together with all members, friends,
and families of The Prempeh College Old Boys Association (AMANFOO) around the
world, as well as well-wishers of Prempeh
College.
This site is also a place where we can meet to discuss ideas to the benefit of our
organization and to laugh and reminisce about the good old days. It is also a perfect medium
for the Staff and students to interact with Amanfoo around the globe.
Receiving thousands of visitors every month, this website, which is a decade old, is the first website of its kind among the
Ghanaian institutions (including the universities). Whether you attended Prempeh College
in the 40s, 50s, 60s, 70s, 80s or 90s, this is a place on the internet that you can call home.
It is also our hope to put all Amanfoo in cyberspace in
the Global Amanfoo Registry.
So now, herewith a database of All Prempeh College Old Boys on
the net. It has been grouped alphabetically by surnames. An interactive feature allows you to click and send email to any Amanfoo from the site.
If you are not in the Registry, please send
the Helpdesk your information (name, period at Prempeh, house, email address,
and mailing address) by filling out the simple form below
or send it via email.
You MUST provide your House (e.g., Freeman) and years (e.g., 1972-79) in order
to be listed in this Registry. Without the names and houses some
people may be indistinguishable. We will not be able to distinguish some Amanfoo from their
sons who shared the same name. All the various Kwasi Owusus and Kofi Owusus Prempeh has had since
1949 become indistinguishable without houses and years attached!
Because our work is extremely tedious, we cannot write
back to ask you to tell us what house you were affiliated with.
