Physically, I attended Prempeh College on the 23rd. Septem, 1976. I thank my
parents for making everything possible, despite the many children they had to
pay their fees, for sending me to Prempeh when the time came. I became a real
member of a family that has a member in every corner of the world trying to
contribute to the well-being of this earth. It was at Prempeh College that I
learnt not to give up in life. I thank all Masters and their families who helped

forged a symbiotic relationship between our two great schools. May the Almighty God in His Infinite Wisdom, Kindness and Mercy grant more glory and distinction
to your beloved Alma Mater, Prempeh College. May the Spirits of the two Great Nana Prempehs and those of all our departed Great and Brave Kings guard and
protect your dignity and glory. Let us commit ourselves to a future of cooperation, mutual respect, honour and excellence befitting the names we bear. We should
not debunk the old jokes and the mutual ridicules but to say them in tones more friendly, tasteful and respectful as opposed to the current acerbic and contumelious
diatribes. We pray that the Good Lord grant our King, Otumfuo Nana Opoku Ware II good health and long life and that he graces your Golden Jubilee Celebrations
with His Majestic presence and all the pomp, glory and dignity that was and is Asante. I would like to implore all Amanfoo to heed the Latin proverb, "Parturiunt
montes, nascetur ridiculus mus" ( The mountains are in labour, and a ridiculous mouse will be brought forth). We should not be quarelling among ourselves because the
issues on which we are trying to destroy each other are infact ridiculous and puerile. Happy Birthday to Nana Prempeh's school and God Bless Prempeh College and
exult her and her products. Long live Asanteman, Long live Opoku Ware, Long live Prempeh!!!
