MR. ASAMOAH OWUSU-ACHIAW is the 9th Headmaster of Prempeh College.

Mr. A. Owusu-Achiaw took over as the 9th headmaster of the college in March 2002 from the Kumasi Metro Director of Education, as Mr. Sekyere had earlier on handed over to the Metro Director.

Mr. Asamoah Owusu-Achiaw studied at the Technology Secondary School and T.I Ahmadiyya all in Kumasi and the University of Cape Coast where he studied Economics for the first degree and Diploma in Education. He again studied for Masters in Education at the same University.

By tradition of Prempeh College, Mr. Owusu-Achiaw is a Methodist replacing Mr. Sekyere (Saddam) who is a Presbyterian. Mr. Owusu-Achiaw is married with three (3) children, two (2) boys and one (1) girl.

He taught for 20 years at the Kumasi Academy where he became the Assistant Headmaster for 12 years before becoming the Headmaster of Dompoase Secondary School in the Adansi District, the school he brought to limelight in a short period of three years.

Mr. Owusu-Achiaw is highly developmental oriented and this he always display wherever he finds himself. It is hoped that he will bring this to bear on Prempeh College.
